My Christian life started back not too long ago. But, before this, I grew up as a Catholic.
I spent around 7-10 years of my life going to a Catholic Church. I always thought of the place to fool around with my siblings. Then, my sibs and I started to divert away from the Church. I didn’t really care. I had Sunday free and to play around. I never really felt a loneliness in my life until around 2 and a half years ago. I saw my brother go off on Friday nights to a place called ‘fellowship’. I had no idea what that was. He told later that night when I asked. It was a place where children of God meet to enjoy each others company and talk about God.
I accepted God around 2 years ago. I can’t really remember the time or the date, but i remember where. It was on the bedside of my brother’s bed. Wasn’t the greatest place, but it didn’t matter because i was about to embark on the most important relationship of my life.
He asked me to go with him one night and I asked myself, “What else am I going to do with my Friday night?” so i went with him. It was a cool place to talk and share with one another what God has done. We later went to a different church called Pacific Grace. It was so cool. I met so many neat people there. Most, if not all, are now really good friends of mine.
I have thought about ending my life with a stab or a slice here and there. But i always tell myself that God wouldn’t like it. He has a better plan for my life and it’s to share his love and his word to everybody. Since i have accepted Christ, things in my life have changed complete around. I’m nicer to people, more patient, more helping, and my attitude and personality has changed completly around.
