I would like to give you 2 questions to ponder on while I give you a brief introduction.

-Do you think there is a heaven or a hell?
-If you died right now, where would you go? If heaven, why?

Gabriel FungI was born into a Christian family, my father is a pastor, so I get exposed to the Bible and the gospel a lot. I accepted Jesus as my savior when I was 6. I didn’t really understand what I was doing until later. Around a year ago, I rededicated my life to Christ at a youth rally. I told Jesus to take complete control of my life and I let him be the driver, and I the passenger. Being a Christian isn’t easy, there will be many challenges, but with God’s help, I can stand up to any challenge. The psalmist David wrote,”commit thy way unto the Lord, and trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” Psalms 37:5 K.J.V. If you trust God, He will lead you through your tough times. With God, all things are possible.

There’s my testimony & introduction, have you thought about those two questions yet? Where are you going if you died right now? If you said heaven, why?

In the Bible, Romans 3:23 says,”For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” What does this mean?

It means, “for all”, everyone, “have sinned”, has done unrighteous things, “and fall short of the glory of God.”, and has fallen from the high and holy standards of God. Everyone has sinned and has fallen from the standards of God.

Romans 6:23 says,”For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”. What does this mean?

It means the outcome, or consequence of sin is death,(hell), but God’s free gift is eternal life, (heaven!), in Christ Jesus our Lord. God says here, that for one sin, no matter how small, He is going to send me to hell. No matter how good you are, whatever you do for the community, or for charity, you’re still going to hell for that one sin.

Notice the word “in”, “…eternal life ‘in’ Christ Jesus our Lord.” It reminds me that I am to be in a relationship with Jesus Christ, not n a religion. Infant baptism, confirmation, church membership, or any other religious actions don’t get you into heaven. You need to be in a right relationship with Jesus Christ.

I know somebody like you who went up to Jesus and asked Him how to get to heaven. This guy was a church goer, but he knew that it wasn’t enough to get him into heaven. Jesus responded,”No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 3:3. You’re probably wondering what Jesus was talking about. That guy, Nicodemus, thought Jesus meant he had to go back inside his mother. But no, Jesus was talking about a spiritual rebirth.

Why did Jesus come to die? Think about it. Why did He have to come to die?

Jesus came to Earth to die for our sins. Your sins, my sins, the sins of the whole world, both present, and future, (that’s us). He hung on that cross, that Friday 2000 years ago, to die for the sins of the world. He died for me, so that I could be forgiven. This forgiveness is a free gift from God.

If I wanted to give you a gift, what would you need to do to get it? It’s a free gift. You don’t need to pay me. You don’t need to say please, or thank you. What do you need to do to get it? It’s sitting right in front of you.

All you need to do is accept it, receive it. That gift isn’t yours, until you take it. It’s exactly the same with the cross. The gift of forgiveness isn’t yours, until you accept it for yourself.

John 14:6 says,”I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” What does this mean?

Jesus says that He is the Way, truth, and life. There is no other was heaven (to the Father…) except through Jesus.

Romans 10:9-11 says,”If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For It is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the scripture says,’Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.’”

Does the phrase “If you… believe… you will be saved” include murderers, alcoholics, drug addicts, etc? Read through the verse again, carefully. Does God forgive murderers, etc?

It says, “If ‘you’ confess…” that you is directed to everyone. In fact, all the “you”’s and the “your”’s in the verse is directed to everyone. No exceptions.

Revelations 3:20 says,”I stand at the door and knock. if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” What does this mean?

It means that Jesus is waiting for us, and He is eager to enter into our lives. The Lord longs for us, meaning everyone in the world, to be in a right relationship with Him.

I now have 5 simple yes or no questions for you.

1 - Are you a sinner?

2 - Do you want to be forgiven?

3 - Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you and rose again?

4 - Are you willing to surrender yourself to Christ?

5 - Are you ready to personally invite Jesus Christ into yourheart and into your life?

If you answered yes to all 5 questions, and you’re sure of your answers, I’d like you to pray this prayer. (Prayer is the way Christians communicate with God.) Pray it in your office, in school, at home, or where ever you are. Pray it out loud! Let everyone know. To accept Jesus as your savior is something to be joyful about! Now pray this pray with all your heart and mean every word that you say.

Dear God, thank You for your gift of salvation, and for dying for us on the cross, so that we might have eternal life in heaven. I know I am a sinner, and that I am in great need of your forgiveness. I am truly sorry for my sins and I ask that You forgive me. Jesus, I believe with all my heart that you died on the cross and rose again. I know that You are eager to enter into my life, so I now invite You to come into my heart. I know that You are the only way to heaven and I give all my trust in You for salvation. Please guide me in the days to come and make me be a person pleasing to You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have just accepted Jesus as your personal savior! No one can take this gift away from you. It’s yours to keep. Now that you have accepted the Lord as your savior, I’d like to know about it. Email me at roseagain@hotmail.com and tell me all about it. Don’t forget to write your name and your email address so that I can write back. You can also add this exciting experience to this website and tell everyone about your salvation.

If you have any questions about anything to do with your relationship with Jesus, or something in the Bible, or what to do next, email me. I’d be more than happy to answer your questions.

If you didn’t pray that prayer for some specific reasons, or you’re just not ready, tell me about it. you might have some questions. Email me and ask. Remember this: If you died right now, where are you going? Is it heaven, or hell? If you prayed that prayer, you’ll know where. If you didn’t pray that prayer, you’ll also know where.
