I grew up in a Christian home, and I guess I have always been exposed to Christian values and beliefs. I’ve been taught that there has been a God, and his son Jesus came to die for us. And I used to just pass it by, glance at it and say, ‘Yeah, so what? What’s in it for me?’. Being exposed to these beliefs since I was a born, I came to think of Church as something I had to do. This was what I had to do, because my parents told me to.

But lately, I have seen how God can do marvelous things by answering my ‘So what?’ question. He not only did wonders in other peoples lives, but in my life as well. I have seen how God can protect not only me, but everyone, if they just pray. For example, just this last couple weeks, in preparation for the Face 2 Face Praise and Worship, I have witnessed Satan trying ever so hard just to break each and every one of us down in different ways. Example : I almost got into a _serious_ car accident involving a light pole. Well, let’s just say that my friend dropped a drink on the floor, I looked down to see where it, the road turned, and I didn’t cause I was looking down.

I can tell you that I was this close ==> <== to hitting the pole going 50 km/h. I really thank God for protecting me from a possibly very serious accident. Because we (the worship team) prayed hard practically every day, God has protected us from any harm, and has kept us safe. I can feel right now! that I am stronger because I have been praying hard all this week and it is just amazing what the Holy Spirit can do. I use to live life like it was just a routine to follow. But after seeing what God can do and that he is for real, I can say that I accept Christ for my sins of the past, present & future. I want to live the abundant lives Christians live by further reinforcing my faith through baptism. As a result, I will be strong in my faith, and I will have eternity of the future because I have accepted Christ forever.
